So I’m satisfied and it’s true we will produce different fruits in the ministry or in our life time.
Then I realized hmmm… to ensure all these different plants produce their respective fruits different treatment and attention is required! Some may required more attention than others during certain time of the year. This brings me to Ecc 3:1-8, there is a time for everything! Means there are times when the plant will require more attention and other time no and it’s left to grow on its own. There is a time when pruning is required. Which brings me to John 15 – the wine tree story :-) Understand that for a tree to bear much fruits it needs to be prune John 15:2b.
Here it states that all trees are to bear fruits – John 15:16!
So watering… watering… I go then I came across a tree.. it’s pretty big by now… and I realized that I’ve never eaten any fruits from it! Why didn’t my Mom cut it down? BTW my Mom had cut off all the papaya trees which produce lots and lots of good fruits. So, why? In John 15:2 – it states if fruits are not producing, it shall be cut off.
So why didn’t my Mom chop it off? I wondered for quite awhile and I asked the Lord about it too. Then the Lord showed me this Bible verse Luke 13:6-9. This shows that all is given a chance! Don’t chop off something just because we think it’s not going to produces fruits or bring benefit! One may just need a little more fertilizer and some digging in deep to understand and to move on to the next level!
However, the connection of that fertilizer and digging in deep must involved God and His Word as our guidance. If we are drawing or connecting from the wrong source and has been digging from the wrong soil then we will missed out on the things and plans of God. This also means NOT all fertilizer fits us!
Good fertilizer will become bad if we do not know how to handle it. This teaches me so much about having an open mindset and heart to learn what is needed so that we are in the position to be upgraded! And not all fertilizer is for us to draw from. We need to be focus. Too much fertilizer can also kill the plant – this also taught me that too much information may kill us if we do not know how to take in the right amount for ourselves. Or information that is release to us too early will also kill us! Because we are just not ready for it as it maybe too strong!
All of us need to be upgraded first than only we can continue to bear much fruits for the Kingdom! But in being upgraded, do we know what to do with all those that are being downloaded or released into our life! If we do not know how to handle it, that “good” will become “bad” to us. So folks know how to receive and also how to digest so that you can continue to be a useful vessel for the Lord and one that is found to be bearing much fruits!
From just doing some watering in the garden the Lord has taught me so much! So always talk to the Lord and be open to the Spirit for He may speak and teach any time.
Don’t miss God and His blessing!
